The restructuring of our student branch was discussed. The Membership decided to organize in an umbrella structure where each society and interest covered by IEEE would be extended the offer to join our Executive Committee with their Chair and Vice-Chair. The main Chair and Vice-Chair positions will speak for the unified IEEE on campus then, while all others report through them.
We decided to create committees for Public Relations, S-PAC, and SoutheastCon. SoutheastCon will be divided into subcommittees for each of the competitions: Hardware, Software, T-Shirt, Website, Paper and Ethics.
Written guidelines will be provided at a later time for each committee.
The last order of business was spent on discussing and the new constitution/charter which we will be submitting to the registered student organizations committee at the university.
